About this project
A grey carpeted room with heavy traffic soiling, plus a patterned area rug sitting on top of wall-to-wall carpet, both shown before and after.
Two before-and-after pairs make up this project. The first pair shows a grey carpeted room with a large, dark traffic area in the middle of the floor. After cleaning, the carpet color is much more even across the room.
The second pair shows a blue and cream patterned area rug laid over wall-to-wall carpet. The rug and the carpet around it were handled in the same visit, which is a common request in bedrooms and living rooms.

Traffic areas build up gradually, so the difference is often only obvious side by side. Rugs on carpet can be cleaned together with the carpet around them.
